That sinkin’ feeling

A West Broadway resident takes in the spectacle created by a sinkhole which swallowed a Maple at the corner of Furby Street and Sara Avenue, July 27, after the ground opened up beneath it. The hole was filled with water which could be heard rushing underground through the manhole cover in the street.
