Thieves nab windows from construction site

A Headingley resident has reported the theft of two white-framed Jeld-wen windows valued at more than $1,100. The windows were stolen in the early morning of March 11 from a house under construction, RCMP report.

The police investigation continues.


Snowmobile used in break-ins

Several daytime residential break-ins occurred at St. Francois Xavier, the RM of Cartier and the RM of Rosser on March 12. These crimes are believed to have been committed by the same person(s), police said.

The suspect(s) arrived at each property by snowmobile. At one residence, a snowmobile was stolen but later recovered.

Other items stolen included jewelry, a laptop computer, a camera, liquor, fuel, and more than $1,000 in cash.

Police investigation continues into this rash of property crimes.


Police seek credit card fraud artist

A Headingley resident reported the theft and fraudulent use of her credit card March 13.

More than $1,000 of illegal purchases were made. Police are following up with a suspect in this case.


Fire may be arson

During the evening of March 13, police were called to a suspicious structure fire in the RM of Cartier.

The fire is being jointly investigated by police and the provincial Fire Commissioner’s Office.


White vehicle linked to break-in

On March 15, a Headingley resident reported a daytime break-in. The suspect(s) gained entry by forcibly breaching the rear door and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

It is believed the suspect was driving a white vehicle with a leather grill cover. Police investigation is continuing.
