Police need info on fatal crash
A 45-year-old male was assaulted and robbed in St. Boniface on Nov. 26 at 6:45 p.m.
While parked in the 400 block of Qu’Appelle Avenue, a 45-year-old man was approached by two 15-year-olds, one carrying a gun, the other with bear spray.
After surrendering his wallet, the man was attacked.
The man was taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Police officers arrested the 15-year-olds a short time later.
Both have been charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, point firearm and using an imitation firearm while committing an offence and were detained.
Police looking for help in fatal car crash
Two people died after a sport utility vehicle traveling eastbound on Fermor Avenue near Niakwa Road, crossed into the westbound traffic and collided with another vehicle on Dec. 1 just before 1 p.m.
Both the occupants of the westbound vehicle died of their injuries. The three occupants of the eastbound vehicle were taken to hospital. Two of the occupants were treated and released from hospital.
The police are asking witnesses to come forward to help with the incident, which is under investigation.
