RHCC in transition phase
The River Heights Community Centre has a new mandate to transition from a centre focused primarily on children to a centre focused on all ages.
The centre has begun by updating their web site and forming new partnerships with Creative Retirement, South Winnipeg Senior’s Council and Winnipeg In Motion.
The new adult programs offer mat pilates, martial arts fitness, photography, creative writing, body and mind fitness, yoga and painting.
To learn more, the public is invited to an open house on Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The centre is located at the corner of Grovesnor Avenue and Oak Street.
