Two St. Charles streets designated snow routes
St. Charles councillor Grant Nordman told area residents Nov. 6 that two of their streets have now been declared snow routes to reduce potential for congestion during the winter months.
South Setter Street and Hallonquist Drive have been designated as snow routes (Priority Two streets) when a major snowfall takes place between Dec. 1 and March 1 every winter.
This means there will be a parking ban on those streets between 2 and 6 a.m. during that period.
Nordman said he hopes this will improve the flow of vehicles and pedestrians on those streets.
